14 July 2009

RHE to provide local representation for flagship Intranet DASHBOARD product

Intranet DASHBOARD (iD) today announced the signing of its first reseller partner in New Zealand, the RHE Group. RHE Group has joined the recently created channel program to sell and support its flagship intranet, extranet and portal solution, Intranet DASHBOARD (iD).

“Our New Zealand business is growing in leaps and bounds,” said iD’s Partner Manager, Chris Horsley-Wyatt. “We’ve already got customers locally including Kathmandu and Fairfax NZ, however the RHE partnership will give us a much stronger local presence and greater capability to sell and support iD.”

RHE Group is a leading independent IT solutions provider, with industry specialisations in insurance and finance, government and telecommunications. RHE built its reputation on its specialist business knowledge and expertise, delivered in a framework of delivering business value for customers. It has a growing list of satisfied corporate customers across Australasia and the UK with more than 30 successful major projects completed to date.

“RHE Group were attracted to Intranet DASHBOARD because it is a fully featured communications platform that offers all the benefits our customers need at a very competitive price,” said RHE Group CEO, Mark Hamilton.

“Our customers are looking for solutions that can be implemented quickly and are easy to manage, while still being flexible enough to meet their specific needs. iD fits the bill in spades, and RHE's demonstrated capabilities in the integration and solution delivery space compliment the offering perfectly; providing the customer a total solution ” said Hamilton.

Horsley-Wyatt said the company planned to recruit 15 channel partners across Australia and NZ in the next 12 months. “This indirect model has worked really well for us in the U.S. and UK so it made sense to implement this across our core markets as well. We are looking for consultants, VARs and distributors to represent the product.

“It’s an attractive proposition, with license commissions starting at 30 per cent. In addition to this, partners benefit from the unlimited opportunities to provide value add professional services from which iD do not take any margin,” Horsley-Wyatt explained.

More than 60 per cent of companies in A/NZ currently do not have a mature intranet in place representing strong opportunities for the channel.

“The days of big IT spending are over, and products like iD give channel partners a cost effective intranet solution to offer their clients when half a million dollars for a SharePoint solution just isn’t feasible,” said Horsley-Wyatt.

The company recently launched the latest version of its intranet, extranet and portal solution – iD 3.0 – which is being touted as the most affordable SharePoint solution on the market.
